If you find yourself wandering through the picturesque countryside of Wootton Bridge, make sure to take a moment to discover Wild Oak Farm Shop Ltd. Nestled away at Great Briddlesford Farm, this charming cafe combines a delightful emporium of antiques with a warm, inviting atmosphere perfect for a relaxing break.

Stepping inside, you are greeted by the friendly faces of staff who genuinely love what they do, making every visitor feel welcomed and at home. Whether you’re just popping in for a quick drink or settling in for a leisurely coffee catch-up with friends, the ambiance is the perfect blend of rustic charm and casual comfort.

The menu at Wild Oak is a treasure trove of comforting beverages, featuring delightful selections that cater to coffee lovers and tea enthusiasts alike. Start your day off right with a Pot of Tea for two (£3.50), offering a selection that includes the aromatic Earl Grey and refreshing Super Fruits. For those with a penchant for chocolate, the Biscoff Hot Chocolate (£4.10) is a must-try, described by customers as “absolutely delicious.”

But it’s not just your typical cafe fare; the homemade cakes steal the show. One customer raved about the Bakewell berry cake, saying it’s “gorgeous” — and who could resist this tempting treat? Helen Young, another delighted visitor, emphasized the charm of the cafe, stating, “A delightful place hidden up a track from Briddlesford Road.” It’s a hidden gem that promises to reward those who seek it out.

For those who enjoy a refreshing drink on warmer days, Wild Oak offers a range of cold beverages, including the Watermelon Iced Tea (£2.50) and invigorating Milkshakes (£3.85). Each sip is crafted to enhance your enjoyment of the beautiful surroundings. The café also features a diverse menu for non-coffee drinkers, complete with alternatives like oat and soya milk, making it inclusive for everyone.

What sets Wild Oak apart is its unique dual offering of a farm shop brimming with local produce alongside the cafe. Customers can indulge in fresh, high-quality ingredients including their very own meats, after which they can enjoy a slice of cake or a cup of coffee. Jon W shared his experience saying, “Wow what a difference, can’t believe it’s the same place...already planning the next coffee meet with friends.”

As you explore, you can also hunt for special finds in the antique shop, where treasures await, including vintage items at a fantastic price point. Sasha Williams praised the shop’s selection of antiques, which include surefire bargains like shelves full priced at just £5. Holly Wardman echoed this sentiment, encouraging everyone to pop by for a lovely experience.

Though a few reviews noted that changes have been made to the cafe ambiance, the essence of Wild Oak remains untouched. The inviting nature and commitment to quality make it worth a visit for anyone in the area. A cozy corner in the cafe allows for quiet moments, making it a lovely spot to sip coffee and catch up on reading or simply enjoy the peace.

In conclusion, whether you’re a local or a traveler seeking a delightful pit-stop, Wild Oak Farm Shop Ltd is a captivating choice that warmly invites you to come in, relax, and savor the best of British countryside culture. Don’t forget to take some local produce home with you!

Oh my gosh! The cakes are all homemade and wonderful. I had the Bakewell berry cake. It was gorgeous, and the coffee is good too. A A delightful place hidden up a track from Briddlesford Road. Blink and tou will miss it as the signposting is subtle. I would strongly suggest turning back and going in. The emporium is good for a wander around, too.

Bought a sweet little item from the 1.00 bin outside. The hot chocolate in the coffee shop is good. Cakes are very large so a bit pricey but not bad value. Worth a look.

We used to visit every year when it was Dores hill, this visit wasn't as good unfortunately, the cafe addition is too large and not very welcoming. The emporium section was overpriced in several areas, I spoke to a nice lady on the till, but wasn't given much information except oh yes it's changed a lot.
